Integrity and the critical mind
A lot of people want to feel good but they never want to change the core of why they’re not feeling good. If you’re mistreating yourself and you're mistreating others and you’ve got all kinds of things going on, you’re not going to feel good no matter what I say. This is what’s so great about it. You can change your own condition. And we must change our own condition.
As I've said before, it’s not what goes in you that defiles you it’s what comes out of you. What your thoughts are, how you move, how you think, how you treat other people. If you’re treating somebody badly - I don’t care what you say - you’re not going to feel good about yourself. You can try to dismiss everything - you can say, “Oh I’m a self-centered son of a bitch and I’m going to feel good about that.” You don’t feel good about it, you’ll be sick. You’ll create disease in your body. This is how physical it is. Isn’t it great? You are in charge. You create what you want to create.
It’s one thing to say what you feel to somebody, to come to them and tell them something you don’t like. It's something else again to give them a feeling of support and nourishment at the same time, so they’ll feel wow, he’s building my body. You recognize that deep feeling, and I know I give that to your bodies. You hear me touch you in things, I might be intense, but I’m saying it to build you. You can feel from me that there’s a feeling of your person, it’s not about finding something wrong with you, or to turn on you, or to find something wrong all the time.
It’s important that you speak with utmost integrity. If the conversations you get into come from a place that hurts the flesh, there’s something deadly wrong going on.
Some of you still have critical patterns that keep you on the run in your body. You can’t really settle in with the flesh and build something that’s deathless with each other. Instead, you bounce around a lot. You wear out one person then another, or you wear out. And something’s always coming up, issues and dramas.
Don't live in that critical, deadly, self-centered son-of-a-bitch chemistry that’s never really after the solution but only after conflict and pain. It’s just passive aggressive bullshit. Don't allow yourself to be subject to it. And this critical mind is the core of what keeps some of you in poverty and keeps you down. It’s the core.
You’ve got a suspicious mind, and it runs and it runs and it runs. That stuff is in your body. No one really has a conspiracy against you. It’s in your body, deal with it. Deal with it so you can be the free, beautiful body you are all the way.
