Everybody has come from another country. I was born in Oregon but I came from another country too. Left home, left family, left a "good life" - so hungry for something more that I was willing to leave everything to really live.
I was told that I could come home any time I wanted to but I said no, thank you. I experienced the family home, and that home, that genetic life was empty for me. The love of the family never did for me what your love does for me. The love of immortal bodies walking free of death does something for me that nobody else does.
I was happy to let go of a genetic family. I'm not staying around people that see me dead. I'm going with people that want me to live as much as I want to live. I want you to live as much as you want to live. I'm going to walk with you. I'm going to stay with you. I'm going to be with you forever.
I don't care what the scientists or the great teachers or the gods or religion says. I like what we're saying. What they've got to say is ugly, it doesn't touch the heart. It doesn't give you anything to go on. We're giving each other something to go on here.
The reality is that nobody's going anywhere on their own. I'm not going anywhere on my own, and I know it. I'm glad I know it. I'm glad I've experienced that it's much greater for me with you. We need each other's feedback and praise. It's so wonderful to hear a sound that's for you. It's so good - it fills up the emptiness in the gut. To hear a sound that says, "You are marvelous." To hear a sound that says you don't have to go into the hole. That's the greatest sound - the sound of people who want you alive.
